Fortunately Morrissey is neither!
It topped the UK Charts but it remains to be seen how long it stays there and how much it sells. It doesn't have a strong single (like First Of The Gang) so it might struggle to match YATQ's achievements.

Maintaining his international popularity is much more important and when its all said and done, he will have sold 1 million units worldwide, and have sold out his tour. Morrissey probably doesn't even care how many albums he sells in America. Anything over 100,000 is probably gravy to him, as I'm positive he knows how incredibly lame we Americans are when it comes to music.
Thank you rap/hip-hop for killing music in my country. Its like we allowed these people to crash our party and they have totally taken over the soundsystem and trashed the house.
