Given the sad demise of the great John Peel this year, the Festive 50 will be even more poignant and defining this Yule. Despite being a sad year for music due to Johns passing, on a positive note it has certainly been the Year Of The Moz – so get voting: Festive Fifty Vote 2004

I voted for Morrissey as songs 2 and 3 and (against the rules but hey) voted for Teenage Kicks as first choice. Would be nice if somehow that won.

probably not my real top3 of the year [ignoring Manics, U2, PJ Harvey, The Magnetic Fields, Stars, Sarah Harmer, Franz Ferdinand and everyone else] but icouldnt really be bothered to sit down rightnow and really think it through honestly. definitely three of my favourite songs of the year anyway from our favourite artist of the year.
