I don't know if anyone has noticed this already, but the Guardian newspaper are planning to release a Morrissey interview in mid-February. An exact date was not given, but as it came from the Sunday magazine part of the newspaper, i presume it will be 15th Feb. They mentioned last week that the inteview was conducted in his current recording studio, and focuses on life in L.A. and reasons why he considers this album one of his most important ever.

Yes, we are semi-literate even here in Central Texas.

recording of "maladjusted" vs. current sessions (Score:2, Interesting)
This is further evidence that Morrissey and his camp have thrown themselves into this album with gusto. Whereas "Maladjusted" was recorded (in Morrissey's words) "very quickly," the time spent on these latest sessions is encouraging: "The Queen is Dead", "Your Arsenal" and "Vauxhall and I" were not rushed through a studio on a stretcher.
The latest entry in Boz's diary and Alain's remarks to BBC6 suggest that morale at Morrissey FC is in the stratosphere. If, as seems the case, Morrissey sets the barometer for those around him, then Morrissey's mojo is working something fierce.
I just hope nothing gets f'ed between now and May.
