Just listening to BBC Radio 2 here in the UK and I have just heard that The Mozzer is going to be on the Janice Long show on OCTOBER THE THIRD. The show starts at 12 a.m but I'm not sure what time Morrissey will be on. With the Craig Kilborn show in the US, increasing signs of an imminent release of new material...? Hope so!

  • Fantastic! My pal Jaan sent me a tape of Morrissey appearing with Janice on Radio 1 years and years ago and he was hilarious.

I listen to Janice in the wee small hours as she plays tunes for truck drivers and warehouse workers everywhere. She plays an eclectic mix of records. Currently her favourites are the 'Sugarbabes'. Ugh.

Not so long ago I e:mailed her about the mention she got on the recent Rhino compilation. By way of answer she played Sheila Take a Bow for me.

By the way her show is broadcast from Birmingham, so don't hang around London trying to see him. I wonder if this means he'll be doing more UK dates between 18th Sept and this interview?

Hey, being Morrissey's friend must make up for being Keith Chegwin's sister.

  • More UK dates? (Score:2, Insightful)

If he's at The Royal Albert Hall on Sept 17/18 and on BBC radio on Oct 3, then, assuming this is a live broadcast, what'll he be up to in between?

  • He should be on BBC television. I'd love to see him on 'Never mind the Buzzcocks'!
