<I>The Very Best of Morrissey</I> to be released on March 12?

I was shopping on-line recently and found a new Morrissey cd titled "The Very Best of Morrissey" due for release on March 12, 2002. Even http://www.barnesandnoble.com/ shows it listed for pre-ordering. I also called my local store, and they told me I could put my copy on reserve. Yet, other music stores are not even aware of this cd. I am just wondering if this is another compilation following as a part II to "The Best of Morrissey" or if it might be the UK's equivalent of the last release? If you can find out any information on this, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.

  • I searched around a few sites, and yes, it does seem to be a new release. However no artwork or track listing is available at this time..and only 5 more days to go? Strange.

    It may have something to do with copyright.

  • I really hope this isn't true. How many "Greatest hits" can one artist release?? How about giving us some new material instead of re-releasing the same stuff every year or so?
