Last night I was going through channels, when I saw a song on MTVUK's "DFC Plus". I can't remember the name of the group (something Punk?), but I do remember that it sampled not just Debbie Harry's vocal from the Blondie song "Rapture" - but also the bassline from "Barbarism Begins At Home"! Even though the actual track's not that good, it does get some plus points for sampling two great bands.

  • I haven't heard the song but I'm pretty sure the name you're trying to come up with is the dance group Daft Punk who sings "One More Time" and "Around The World".

True friends stab you in the front.
  • ive got daft punk's new and old album...i havent noticed any smiths-sampling or blondie voices. but i could just not have been listening to it intently. i could listen to it now and try to figure it out, but i am not musically inclined, therefore theres a great chance i might miss it. so to make a long story short: does anyone know which song its on?
