there was a discussion board about making a campaign to giving up meat for your birthday, I thought it was going to be difficult to people that I'd ask, but considering how much they knew I was an advocate for the ethical treatment of animals about 10 people as of now have agreed to not eat any sort of animal for a day!! I am a fledgling youngster, recently introduced to Morrissey and The Smiths. Through your lyrics I get the impression that you feel that the majority of people are blithely inaccessible to all that moves you, and that you feel you play no part in the humanity which you depict. And although I wish you happiest of birthdays, this message isn't really about that, it's more of an excuse for me to air my own impressions.
I do hope that's not awfully selfish, or awfully pretentious, but there it is. Thank you Mr Morrissey, long may you challenge and inspire.
