From jermainerogers.com:

One last thing: some of you in Houston, Texas or El Paso, Texas have seen Jermaine's first concert poster in a while hanging in select places around your communities. It's for upcoming shows by Morrissey. About the imagery, Jermaine says, ''This is the first concert print20commission I've accepted in 7 months... and it didn't take a lot of arm twisting: it's for Mr. Morrissey. The image takes place in a nightclub which has appeared as the setting for another print I did a year or so ago for RADIOHEAD. It's a freaky kind of place where in the low-lights, sweet smells, and loud music...any weird thing can happen. Moz sits flanked by 2 of his heroes...'The Slider' and Jimmy Dean." We've already begun to receive a flood of emails asking about this one. It will be available, soon. Stay tuned in. Here's a sneak peek:

I'm not a big fan of the guys work in general but some of the posters have been pretty good.

This one looks like he rushed it to meet a deadline.

Looks like Slash, Vincent Price and Christian Slater.

      Yikes.

This makes Moz look like Mephistopheles.

I love the concept of these iconic figures sitting together in some lounge looking so aloof and fabulous. I don't even mind the dark shadow under Morrissey's nose that resembles a Hitler mustache. He may interpret it as a homage to his hero Ron Mael from Sparks.

This is reminiscent of the concert poster featuring Morrissey and Oscar Wilde sharing a table from the last tour. I love that the tour company commissioned artists to create these posters, so my question is; how do I get my name dropped in the hat? I could do a full-color illustration in vector that would curl the hair in his nose.

My pop style sensibilities may not be his cup of tea, but I would still love the chance.

Fantastic concept, very good execution. The Hades-inspired red and white eyes on Moz border on horror imagery, but I like it...
