Morrissey interview with the Israeli actor Lior Ashkenazy, pics

Today there is a big interview in the Israeli newspaper with Morrissey. Lior Ashkenazy, a well known Israeli actor, that morrissey likes very much, flew specially to London to meet Morrissey and to talk with him about the show that will take place in 29.07 Tel-Aviv. They met at a hotel in London. Ashkenazy brought Morrissey some DVDs he likes and after they go to the 02 London Festival and were at the backstage. On Friday the photographed interview will published in the net and I will send it to you. Here are some pics I scanned from the meeting Ashkenazy-Morrissey. To be continued…

  • before anyone turns on the crocodile tears, remember morrissey expressed an interest in performing in iran (see moz-solo 22 june 2007), whose president has on a couple of occasions stated that israel should be "wiped off the page" of history.

    personally, i support his efforts to tour as many countries in the middle east that are willing to host him; a far better path to openness or 'democracy' than sending bombs.

  • I thought it was called Late Marraige. Either way, it was an awesome movie. Truly heartbreaking. Here in America where a classroom full of fifteen-year-olds will let a homeless guy get them pregnant for funsies we really can't imagine a culture where your family would drive you away from someone you are madly in love with and into a sham marraige, but it happens all over the world. It's almost as sad as a dog owned by a hippie.

  • Is one of the best films I've ever seen and Lior is certainly the sexiest leading actor ever to come out of Israel.

    The film tells the story of two young German siblings (brother and sister)who come terms with their family's Nazi past whilst on Kibbutz in Israel.

    Thought provoking and brilliantly executed idea.

  • Dear David T. You are going to have to take some responsibility for these disgraceful racist comments on a musicians fansite. These forums/comments should be about Morrissey, his music and other music related news, NOT to allow some sick racist the opportunity to post inflammatory and upsetting rantings. There has been discussion here before about the use of filters on comments being posted and I think the time has definitely now come to actually do something about it.
