There has been threads in the tour section of the forums for the last few days. The link was posted by a member and people were helping each out this morning when they couldn't get tickets. The forum always has lots of info that hasn't made it to the main page yet.

..if you needed to see him over the past two years you would have attended one of the plethora of concerts he's given.

These dates at the Roundhouse speak of a man who is pathologically greedy and wants to milk his "fanz" for every penny of their cash before he retires to some ranch in his beloved Mexico.

You wouldn't mind all this touring/scoring/wh oring if he had some decent songs to peddle but "Quarry" and "Tormentors" are downright unlistenable as time goes by.

Personally I think he's just trying to pump up the pension fund before he retires very very soon.

Yep, i tried but failed in getting tickets for the Roundhouse, sick , true fans missed out, ebay touts again

Tried ticketmaster, ggsandtours etc without success, have just called the Roundhouse direct (10.50 am) and got a ticket for Friday - still on sale for all nights - 0870 389 1846.

If your a orange customer sign up for the gigs and tours service, they have just released tickets when the main site has sold out. I managed to grab 2 for the saturday nite.

dont bother with ebay as of 12.30 uk time there are still tickets at roundhouse box office. just call them direct. (and the booking fee is cheaper than ticketmaster etc etc etc)

14.46 UK time just phoned Roundhouse on the number listed above, got one ticket for the Monday with no problems. Dunno about the other dates but i'm chuffing away big time!

And the priority wristbands thing is hilarious, because we all know that the same 20 people who go to every Moz gig ever (wtf, are they professional bank robbers) will get them. It really makes you sick, when people are selling "fan club" tickets on e-bay, and trying to make a quick buck out of a genuine Morrissey fan. How do these people sleep at night? every one should keep e-mailing all sellers on e-bay and pester them with questions. Times money as they say, wasting time, wasting money. Teach them a lesson. E-bayer Collins6732 so called "fan" YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF.

Did this happen to anyone else? The booking went live on seetickets at 8.59am. I went straight through and booked 2 tickets for Mon and 2 for Tues. By 9.15am I had both confirmation emails and I bounced off to work a happy bunny.
However, I log into my email account this morning and see this:

"Unfortunately we have been unable to obtain payment from your card issuer for your recent ticket order. The details are below. 2 STANDING tickets for MORRISSEY at Roundhouse in Londonon MONDAY 21/01/2008 The order value was £81.80 This order has been cancelled - you will need to book again (subject to availablility).Please check your available funds, or use a different card to re-order."

This was the same for Tues. So, I get on the phone to Seetickets, who tell me it must be that I've either typed a digit wrong, or that there's something up with my card, either way, it's my bank who've failed to authorise the transaction. So I call HSBC, they have no record of a transaction even being attempted on the 23rd. I get back on the phone to Seetickets who now admit that they probably never even submitted my details for authorisation. Apparently they pool card data and submit it bit by bit, once the number of successful transactions equals the number of tickets they have, they stop submitting people's data to the banks. It makes no difference if you've booked at 9am or 12am, somehow the order in which the data is sent has nothing to do with how early you booked. I asked the woman whether it would have made a difference if I'd gotten through on the phone, and she said no, the same thing happens there. She said, "I have you down for 4 tickets and then two hours later it's -4". The whole system is ludicrous and I was pretty upset for a while. I'm going to be working really hard this xmas and I was really looking forward to a couple of Moz gigs. Now, with the touts and the ebayers as a last resort, I'll be lucky if I can afford to see him at all.
I guess it's a long shot, but if any of you have a spare ticket going for any date, please let me know.
As for Seetickets, I won't be using them again.

Can someone please help! I have been without internet access for over two weeks now due to a house move, and only just got the info about the ticket sales. Tried to get tickets but all sold out. I am so very very upset. Can anyone please advise me on how to get two tickets for any of the shows.

I cant believe I heard only yesterday about the gigs. So thats what you get for not going on moz solo for a week or more. Thanks to all you greedy swines for buying more than your fair share.

I can't believe the number of people pointing fingers suggesting that the pre-sale was kept quiet.

For one, the pre-sale was never officially confirmed. There was no mention on True To You, and with no label (yet), there is no official mail group.

It was posted on the forum after individuals called Seetickets, but could you imagine the complaints if David T had posted the presale as fact and then it never happenned.

People should know by now that you need to check the forums and the ticket sites the day before tickets go on general sale. It's been the case ever since the Royal Albert Hall gigs in 2002.

Anyway, for those who were unlucky, I'd lay good money on more UK dates being announced in the next few days...as happenned with the Palladium dates last year

I am now trying to get tickets at ebay (was too slow I think...), but am a bit confused about the different face values and diffent standing section. Can someone please help and give me an idea which section will be the best? Its not necessary for me to go the front row but of course as near as possible. Thanks for your help!

I have it on good authority from a contact in the know that Morrissey will be announcing a date just after his Roundhouse Stint to play at the Watford Colloseum ( Previously the Watford Town Hall ). This sounds likely as T-Rex used the Town Hall to rehearse in prior to a UK Tour in the early seventies.

Here is some very valuable info for some of you who havent managed to get tickets. I just found on gigwise.com that there are tickets available for Tuesday 1/22 and Friday 1/25. There is also the option of the 6 day pass thats available too. Unfortunately doesnt help me out, but hopefully will for someone else.

Just throwin it out there too that Im looking for a set of tickets(2 tickets) for either the 1/26 or 1/27 show. Im flying in from California for my 21st birthday and would like to go to 1 of these shows. Please help me out if you can.
