Looks like that cover story is on after all, this week's NME has a photo saying:

Morrissey - the king of controversy returns.

  • I find it, comical the way these two carry on, one minute they slag im, the next they splash im on the cover. Put his face on it and that rag, or anyother rag for that matter, will completely sell out.....Can't wait to get my hands on that issue.

You're not down with who I am but, look at you now you're all in my hands...tonight I'm a Rock N' Roll Star!!
  • This is brilliant! Morrissey back on the front cover of NME, lets face it, this is his natural home and where he belongs. The very fact that they want him on the cover every year just shows just how much the music industry needs a legend like Morrissey.

Lets hope this is another classic Morrissey interview. Roll on next Wednesday.

  • ...with a big red bow hung at the small of the back; with jingle bells dangling from his nipples; perhaps holding a Christmas cracker reminiscent of the Your Arsenal cover?

Well, that would be controversial for NME standards, but I will be just as happy with an interview from "the king of controversy."

Speaking of controversy; how come there's no talk of the NME retracting their bogus Moz-is-retiring story?

Anyway, what a way to end a fastastic year. Here's looking forward to the upcoming new year and anticipating some more new music and shows.
