There's a wonderful flow in this interview once the gushing and fawning is aired at the start, where Morrissey looks as if he's thinking, 'oh, get on with it, boy!'
Lovely setting too; every pixel easy on the eye. : )

Ugh this "interview" if you want to call it that was absolutely horrific. I love how that no talent ass clown threw in his two bits about being a singer and songwriter what a shameless douche. The guy was lucky to even be sitting next to Morrissey let alone ask his pathetic questions, he should have at least thought of something intelligent to ask Morrissey.

These kind of flippant sound-bites may have worked against the dull backdrop of the 80's, but in a modern world that has increased its access to information, they seem woefully naive, and anti-intellectual.
He seems to believe that his position as a pop song-writer somehow places him in a serious intellectual position. This, coming from a man who admits to not caring about the news. Anyone who takes Morrissey's music that seriously either needs to grow up, and move out of their parent's house, or be placed under a doctor's care.
Morrissey truly has become dull to listen to. The man's views on the world have not seemed to evolve in the slightest since his inception in the music business. All politicians are terrorists? Well, then why on Earth would anyone feel morally obligated to vote for a Socialist government? After all, you're depending on the promises of "terrorists" and giving them more power over your life as a government official?
This is further evidence as to why Libertarians have the most intellectually sound and meaningful political philosophy. Next to the dogmatic extremism of many left and right thinkers, theirs is a fresh perspective.
Unfortunately, Morrissey's fanbase is full of child-like liberals whose idea of a night out is staying in, and pretending that their loneliness somehow makes them glamorous.
Truly, it really is just pizza and fairy tales around here.
