The Guardian's "Film and Music" section runs a feature "Songs about...". This week it is about roads and streets. Morrissey is in there at 9 with Late Night, Maudlin Street.
"Morrissey's choice of Maudlin Street would be self-parodic were the song not so magnificent: a farewell to the site of lost love that is evocative, droll and moving".

Personally I thought Morrissey should have done better and'Across 110th Street" By Bobby Womack should have been included.

Swallowneck's Last Night In Dewsbury (Score:0)
He was pained beyond relief to look around his bedroom for the final time, for it was in there as a teenage Swallowneck he used to stash his first gay porn mags under his bed... On many an evening he would retrieve them from under the bed and jerk off whilst looking at the pictures - a real sexual awakening, which has made him the man he is today!!!
