Time to mind the Buzzcocks - they're back! - The Independent Excerpt: "The Smiths definitely took some ideas from us, ie: the non-gender specific lyrics. Morrissey used to be at the back, taking notes, when we played the Electric Circus with Warsaw - who later became Joy Division - supporting. We were the catalysts in Manchester. We just happened to be there with the right idea at the right time. We influenced a lot of other people. Kurt Cobain really did like us."

Morrissey does 'borrow' from the Buzzcocks........ (Score:0)
I have to say that Mr Pete Shelley is speaking the truth here. Those of you with access to itunes, download "Something's Gone Wrong Again" for an example of a song that has been rather blatantly 'borrowed' by Morrissey rather recently. I wont say which Moz song I think it influenced, I'll let you make your own minds up and post your thoughts here.........!

As for the Kinks, Who comparison, words fail me.
The Buzzcocks are one of those bands whom nostalgia has been kind to. They weren't bad but they were nothing special.
