The Music That Changed My Life - Spin On the tail end of his band's whirlwind tour for the double-platinum Hot Fuss, the Killers' frontman talks about how David Bowie, Jim Croce, and Frank Sinatra shaped his rock'n'roll evolution. Morrissey, Vauxhall and I (Sire, 1994) "It's my favorite Morrissey album. I became one of the Morrissey freaks -- I had every Smiths album and every Morrissey album. I understand how people could listen to it and feel morose, but it made me happy. He has a sense of humor, and I'm a sentimental person, so I got it. It didn't make me want to wear all black."

The odd thing is that the Killers actually just threw the first cd together so they could get out and tour.

The Killers first album is a good one. It's not great but at least you can listen to the whole thing.

That cute little fucker has absolutely NO way with words ('cept for his lyrics, and MAYBE that's all that matters...). So why do I continually find his comments SO ungodly adorable? 'I'm a sentimental person, so I got it.' Awwww.
Mr Brightside will always be on my list of greatest singles ever, and god, how much I do love Under the Gun. Heaven sends, and heaven takes...
