I'm a huge fan of your site and I've been visiting it for years at least a couple of times a week. I just launched my new line of greeting cards at the National Stationery Show in NYC and the name of our company (Handsome Devil Press) is inspired by the classic Smiths b-side. I've been a fan of Morrissey for 20 years and this is my little way of paying homage to my all time favorite musical artist. The card called Perfect Rainy Day might be of interest to the Morrissey Solo gang. If I get enough positive feedback on this one, I'm considering doing more Morrissey flavored cards if there's an audience for them. Thanks for keeping up the good work!

  • What a lovely thing to do!

It's nice that you made him laugh.

You and Gary "Kiln Uncle" Seymour should do a collabor-a-tay!

You could do a card with Morrissey at the Hostility tent at IOW being lynched by Tori Amos.
    Just and idea.

    Love and Peace.

P.S.. just looked at your other cards. Are you a gay? Great.

  • I really like it! It reminds me of my own life, i actually own that tea cup. Perhaps he's my clone...with a penis. Only, i can't actually afford curtains at the moment.

Reminds me of the Garbage song, 'I'm only happy when it rains'.
I'd definitely like you to do some more though because i think it's lovely...even if i won't be buying one for a wee while, sorry.

  • Hi, this is very nicely done -- I love seeing fan's artwork. The style is very attractive and as previously mentioned, its nice to see Moz smiling! Perhaps you can do a Smiths/Moz theme for a whole series of cards -- I can already see "I've come to wish you an Unhappy Birthday..."

  • Oh yes, please do more -- it's great! I adore the details of the records and the books.

I really like all your other stuff, too--Daddy Cake is great, and the typographical cards are very appealing. Will you be doing any non-Valentine-ish additions to that line?

At any rate, you have a new fan and probable customer.

It's very nice, I'm sure I'll take some off your hands when I get some friends to write to.

  • This just brought a smile to my face. They're all so beautifully designed and drawn. I'll share this with all Morrissey fans I know.

  • Really nice, the artwork is very cool in a simple way. Looking forward to seeing some less man-centric ones as you make them. :)

  • Awww...this is soooo sweet! I love the details, from the books to the records. The clincher for me was the kitty on his lap. Reminds me of the pic from his recent trip to Paris!

Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing more of your work!
