Morrissey showed up to the Dears show. I was outside in the black lung section, smoking section, chatting away with George Donoso [the Dears drummer] when he says "Look Morrissey is Walking in". He was rushed up to the VIP sec in the balcony. I was at the balcony the whole time. After about a 1/4 thru the Dears set he left. That surprised me cuz every I looked over he appeared to be having a good time. After he left, so very discreetly too may I add, the door was left open to the VIP room. Me and some peeps walked into the VIP room to enjoy the rest of the show on the comfy couch that Moz was enjoying the show from. Someone in the room noticed an ice chest more than half filled w/ CORONAS! I did see Moz w/ a Corona on his hand. THANX FOR THE CORONAS MR. MORRISSEY!

  • Why is it when ever someone reports Moz being seen out they almost invariably describe the occaision as such: he is seen, having a good time, then seen "discreetly" leaving before the finish. Do you all stand rooted to the spot when you go out? Maybe he "discreetly" went for a pee or a drink? When he does leave should he be less discreet and wave his arms around shouting "I'm leaving everyone!!!" or maybe the management could come on announcing "Morrissey has left the building!". It just struck me funny that it's nearly always the same story.

  • I think these are false sightings. There is an army of Morrissey clones going to every show in
    L.A. I saw him the same night at Paladinos checking out Atomic Punks Van Halen tribute act.
    He was groping a really hot chick with big tits.

  • It just goes to show you how generous and caring our Mozzer can be with his supporters. I am smiling right now just thinking about it. It was a small gesture; he didn't HAVE to do it, but he DID, and that is what makes all the difference. Good on you, Morrissey! Hope you enjoyed the show as well. Kali1962

  • Stay for an entire show? I've seen him at a couple of shows and he always leaves 20-30 mins. into it.

  • Notice how we never hear stories like "Bono attended The Dears show," or "Michael Stipe throws support by showing up for the Trashcan Sinatras," or "Robert Smith spotted at The Strokes concert."

    A very important reason why Morrissey is as good as he is because he is--and will always be--a music fan...God bless that man...
