FOTGTD airplay increasing in the US

According to the latest Radio and Records Alternative National Airplay Chart, "First of the Gang to Die" is about to break into the 50 most played alternative songs in the US. If the song's airplay continues to increase, this means that the song may enter the Billboard Top 40 Modern Rock Tracks chart.

"Irish Blood English Heart" spent 6 weeks on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart, reaching #36. If "First of the Gang to Die" can also crack the chart, it will mean that the song is getting significant exposure.

"First of the Gang to Die" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Sales chart at #12 on July 31, 2004. This is a bit lower than "Irish Blood English Heart", which reached #4. However, FOTGTD is sill on the sales chart, this week at #52.

  • You're spinning the facts my friend. IBEH debutted at #4 on the internet sales chart for Soundscan, NOT on Billboard's Hot 100. First of the Gang has done a run in the Top 20 for internet sales, as IBEH appeared in the Top10 Music Video sales in Billboard. It's interesting to see Gang maintain the longetivity..who knows...it may be a break out hit after all
