The Final Word has my review of the RFH Show from the 26th June.

The RFH shop is also selling shirts and glossy posters for £9.99. More details once I pop into the shop and find out what they are selling.

  • The Royal Festival Hall shop are selling one type of shirt and it comes in various sizes as both a 'scoopneck' womans shirt in sizes 8-18 and gents shirt in Small to Extra Large. They have a few left but they are not on display in the shop : personal visitors will have to ask at the counter. All shirts are £9.99 each and contain the text "Morrissey's Meltdown 2004" and on the back text "the more you ignore me, the closer i get."

An exact photo is found on an Ebay auction (I'm not auctioning mine, mind you!) here :

Posters are similar to the image at http://www.rfh.org.uk/meltdown and contain a list of all acts performing. They are glossy landscape style and about 2ft x 3ft and are £9.99 each.

The URL for the shop is http://www.rfh.org.uk/main/shopping/RFHShop.asp?n=n.

The shop is open 11.00am to 6.00am BST.

The shop take cards, but DO NOT do a mail order facility and so if you want one you'll have to ask someone to collect from the shop itself.

  • Is that all the judge had to say about our Moz? Seems one-sided. It was funny though, the context it was used in, in this review.

  • I saw Moz on the 11th and 25th at the RFH I must say the first gig was a bit disappointing I was right at back, sound was average (probably due to where I was sitting). However the second time is was simply fantastic!!!very good sound (loud and clear) very good seat he also changed the setlist, he did not open with FOFTGTD (which he played later during the show) but with "DADDY" followed by Shakespeare's sister which worked very well.

Also he dropped "America" and "Rush and a Push" the second night. Encore on the first night was TIALTNGO, but he changed it for IBEH on the second night which was excellent. I am glad the review mentioned "Gonna happen someday" it was so good live!!

One guy was with his 8-10 year old daughter and they were both extremely agitated and enthusiastic: really cute!!
Stella Mc Cartney was in the audience as well as Michael Bracewell.

Overall I think It was an excellent Meltdown Festival, a very good selection of artists. The Sparks were absolutely amazing!!
