June 23, 2004 Here is your chance to win a signed, framed Morrissey poster!

In support of the release of the new single, 'First of the Gang to Die,' Morrisseymusic.com is hosting an eCard competition. The person who designs the best eCard will be chosen as our winner!

The contest begins today and ends July 4th at Midnight PST. To enter, create an eCard with a file size of no more than 500 KB using the text, music and images provided below. Send an email to webmaster@morrisseymusic.com with a file attachment or a link to the eCard. In the body of the email, please include your name, address, telephone number, and email address. The subject line should say "Morrissey eCard."

This contest is only open to USA residents. Please consult the contest rules below for additional guidelines.

Sounds like fun. I think I will do it as a goof.

I'm going to use one of my nephew's friends
as Hector. Lovely young mexican boy. Moz's
photos can show in a bodega window, or
a tee-shirt.

I guess Design school was not a complete waste.

    It says to enter, you need to create an ecard "using the text, music and images from morrisseymusic.com", so it seems like you can't use original photos or other art that is not used on the website. It also says "Any form of entry other than those described herein is void."

    So, Mozmic, your idea sounds great, but I wonder if it would be deemed void.

      No, it wouldn't be void because the rules say 50% weight is on incorporating materials provided. So I guess you would just need to include at least some of the material provided, it not exclusively use the material provided.

        What exactly is an 'eCard'?

        Does that mean some static picture?

        Or some kind of flash thing with pictures and text moving about?
