There are rumours on legendary gossip site POPBITCH that Moz will be appearing at the free Love Music/Hate Racism Festival at Finsbury Park on June 6th, 12 - 8pm. As he will be in town due to Meltdown and the fact that the Libertines (who are supporting him) on the 11th June are headlining this event it sounds possible. Maybe he'll be able to lay to rest Finsbury Park '92 at an event like this?

  • I've been thinking this for a few days - as soon as I saw that the Libertines were headlining - and it is an anti-racism rally - and it is at Finsbury Park - and it is on a day when Moz does not have a show - and the TBA guest was described as 'very' special I thought it might just be our man! This will be a great coup if the rumour is true. fuck you NME!

    But Moz - just don't appear wrapped in a Union Jack this time Moz!

  • Mozzer is playing Dublin Castle Sat 5th June - I know it would be easy for him to get a plane back to UK to do Finsbury Park but I would have assumed he would have liked to spend some time in Dublin, considering the fact that he lived here for a while. Anyway, as lomg as he appears in Dublin Castle I'll be happy.

  • don't believe everything you read on POPbitch - there are posters on there who INSIST that Morrissey is secretly married to Dean Butterworth and only angry with Andy R. 'cos he wouldn't go out with him anymore - they also revere Paris Hilton and think consider Clueless-Joe a local hero.
