An anonymous person writes:

In the March edition of fashion mag I-D Manchester novelist Gwendoline Riley mentions she was "just looking at a book of Morrissey pictures" when the interviewer called. The piece is subtitled "Keats and Yeats are on her side."

  • A book of Morrissey pictures?

That must have been Linder's "Morrissey Shot".

I like that book. A lot.

  • Gwen Riley came with us to the Star & Garter Smiths night one time last year. She was really nice and everything, but she didn't seem to know much about Morrissey or The Smiths. She just stood there glassy eyed and confused rather than singing along. Perhaps that night inspired this research.
