Howdy Folks, Happy New Year to you all!
My name is Edd Travers and I work as a caricaturist for the Scottish Cartoon Art Studio in Glasgow, Scotland. Thought you might like a look at my caricature of Mozzer. It was inspired by the recent-ish front cover of Word magazine and was drawn when I should've been working on other things! Should anyone want to contact me, my email address is:

or have a look at the studio website:

Or make a new website for the people who are interested in this sort of thing. Amateur artists trying to promote their career by drawing ugly pictures of Morrissey are not relevant content for this news site if you ask me.

  • I reckon it looks more like the love child of Elvis (that hair) and Michael Schumacher (just look at that chin). With flabby man breasts on the King's side, there is no doubt either to which one is the woman in their relationship.

Happy in this final acceptance of his own absurdity...Albert Camus
  • ... a funny drawing, with no hint of idolatry just for the sake of having a good laugh !

After all, a caricature is meant to be fun by exaggerating the truth and by making flaws more blatant.

I'm sure Moz wouldn't like it given what he said about his chin in recent interviews, but hey, qui bene amabat bene castigat...

Just one word, Edd : the half-amused lascivious expression of the eyes is remarkably rendered but you did put too much hair in the quiff (that one is at least 10 years old)!

  • This isn't too bad however I really went off him when he started tarting about with that Amanda Holden. Poor Les!! I'll never shop in Homebase again.
P.S. Was this drawing done during the Boon years? It's just, I thought his hair was longer then.
