MVC the music shop has a current promotion on the top 100 greatest albums, the usual suspect "The Queen Is Dead" is in at 23 but I was pleased to see "The Smiths" in at number 81. The full chart is at:

  • I knew what I was in for when I saw the list - a bunch of same ole lame ole.

However, it did include the Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" which I haven't racked up on my turntable in such a long time.

IMO the mono version is far better than the stereo.

This is for those of you who care. Those who don't, Anti-Nowhere League.

  • Lists are a subjective lazy waste of time. Fans of either Mojor or Q (or both) have voted the Strokes' only CD as one of the top 100 ever as well. And doubtless Guns 'N Roses "Use Your Illusion" CDs were once on that same list. Why would any artist want to share company with (sometimes) far less talents/blokes.
