Flicking through today's Sunday Mirror I came across this story which I found interesting: MORRISSEY IN ATTACK ON ENGLISH Morrissey former frontman with The Smiths has written an anti-British song called Irish Blood, English Heart for his next album. The 43 year old Manchester born singer whose parents are Irish takes the British to task for their treatment of the Irish over centuries in the song. Morrissey, who will play at Dublins Ambassador Theatre on October 2 &3 has been playing the song on his recent US tour. Morrissey mentions Oliver Cromwellin the song while in another verse he sings the line : "I ve been dreaming of a time when to be English is not to be baneful, To be standing by the flag not feeling shameful Racist or Racial".

Assholes (Score:2, Funny)
They don't know their head from their ass and I've seen more intellegence in a serving of scrambled egg than these useless journalists. Well, I guess they can be really pleased with themselves for helping to destroy British music by slating one of the few treasures we have. I guess they'd rather listen Popstars and pop idol than proper songs.

Tabloid Scum............... (Score:1)
I'm not saying I never read tabloids as they are a good source of amusement, but I can see their bullshit for what it is, I refuse to buy them. My lovely Nan always sends me the News Of The World on a Sunday, the edition yesterday (22/9) had Morrissey as 'Loser Of The Week' in the cutting edge music column by 'Rav', I mean c'mon....how sad is that. The reason given was that Morrissey had said that Jarvis Cocker wasn't a patch on him, no doubt a tongue in the cheek comment that wasn't at all newsworthy, they even stole this from the Observer article......so the story was a week late and old news anyway, not to mention from an interview which he has already disowned, there just out to get him as always......he's still pissing the tabloid press off, great to see mind......he's far too smart for them, always has been, great to see Moz back annoying the ones who deserve it, keep up the good work Moz, A+!!!!!!
