I called On Camera Audiences to verify all the information about the Craig Kilborn Taping on Sept. 12 and it looks like they've overbooked the show threefold. I spoke to one of their representatives ho told me that they weren't exactly sure how they ere going to handle this particular situation as of yet, but did tell me that approximately 90% of the people who reserved seats online were going to get an "I'm Sorry" email stating they could not accommodate them. He also added that they were going to meet in 2 weeks to discuss the specifics of the audience dilemma... as the show draws closer.

I just spoke to the guy at CBS and he told me that normally 30-50 people sign up for tickets and on that day 600 people have signed up for tickets! So forget about the tickets you have printed out they're no good. He said that they are going to have to change plans maybe to have it outside or something.

  • This morning I wrote a letter and sent it off to cbs studios. In the letter I gave some solutions that might be helpful in accommodating a very large crowd. One of them was having the stage outdoors or at least have Morrissey's performance outside. I mean, when Bon Jovi goes on Letterman or the Today show they rope off an entire city block so that he can show off his tight jeans.

I don't think any guest on any show would ever get this type of turnout. Not even the Pope (I'm probably going to hell for that). And I think that if we (all of us) write a letter to cbs studios something good just might happen.

I'm sure all of you have better ideas than this... maybe Morrissey on the roof a la U2. Make a video out of it. Christ, that's 600+ extras in a video you don't even have to pay. So many possibilities. I just hope they handle it the right way. I'd hate to see a riot on TV. 600+ angry Morrissey fans storming the new mall across the street--it wouldn't be a pretty sight.

I encourage all of you to write cbs studios a letter. If nothing happens at least we can say we tried.

"I hope the security isn't ruining your night... never mind... they're outnumbered."

  • any of you want to find out more about this, Monday is the day to tune in because all this week are reruns. In fact, i'm thinking there should be alot of Moz references in the week and a half leading up to the show. A month ago, 'Craiggers' had a "countown" to Clint Eastwood appearing on his show, so this might be something to watch out for.

  • So...I was checking my email today and that damn email popped up, the one informing me that the tickets I had printed out were useless.

To everyone else who gets to go, have fun for us who can't. I'll be taping it, though. :)

  • I just looked on Kilby's website and Morrissey isn't on the schedule for this coming week at all. Is it still supposed to be on Sept. 12th? Wednesday the 11th says TBA. What's going on?
