I AM GOING TO SEE MORRISSEY ON MONDAY. Eek. For the first time ever. My hero. My idol. My future husband. (I like to think so, anyway.) I am trying not to think about it, because I can only think of what is going to go wrong. Because I can't believe that it would actually happen. Really. Oh dear. I won't be able to see. (See? Here I go...) I'm only short, y'know. Just a timid fan who wishes not to get crushed and shoved to the back by the big scary hardened fans who have seen him plenty of times. I just want to see the man. In the flesh. Blimey. How to survive a Morrissey gig without being trampled/fainting from joy/being struck down in the fight for a shirt/having one's dreams crushed by security guards? Only God knows...

I hope you enjoy seeing your future husband tomorrow. And believe me, you've never heard 'Life Is A Pigsty' till you hear it live.
Enjoy the show.
Take care,
Sherman.

How To Prepare! (Score:1)
Also, I wear sturdy shoes like my Docs so if my feet get stepped on I won't notice it anyway. Also, Docs help when needing to give the nearby fellow Morrissey fan a gentle *reminder* that they are standing on your foot, lol.
A slightly baggy cotton t-shirt is best since you want to be able to move freely, and also provides good ventilation as it can get very hot and sweaty down at the front of the stage.
Like you, I'm not very tall either, so moving around a bit throughout the show is usually required in order to maintain fairly good view. LOL, you will find re-positioning yourself comes naturally since everyone around you is doing like-wise. Just go with the flow, as it were.
Hmm, am I forgetting anything? I don't need to tell you to have fun because I KNOW YOU WILL, Wildey!!!
Looking forward to your full review of the show!
