You can't get rid of me!

09:07 AM

Oh dear. Why are computers so rubbish? I have just spent 45 minutes trying to get this thing working, and it ended up doing silly things like going into 'safe mode'. The only thing that I can think of doing when it tries this is to turn it off at the plug. And because I have been waiting for so long, I have just drunk three cups of tea in a row, so I feel really bloated. I don't even LIKE tea that much. AND I burnt my fingers squeezing out a teabag.

Then I tried to do something really clever- i.e., trying to fall backwards off my chair without it hurting, JUST FOR FUN. I got my arse stuck between the rungs, and it did actually hurt. Turns out it's not possible.

However, it did give me the chance to listen to The Healers, which I had delivered today (no, not The Healers in person. That would be REALLY cool. Imagine returning home and finding Johnny Marr wedged in your letterbox!). They're quite good- I've never heard Marr's other stuff before, but I'd heard that it was crap, so I was pleasantly surprised. It's not exactly ground-breaking, but it's nice. Although it strikes me as strange that Marr has influenced so many other musicians, and now he appears to be taking his influences off these newer bands.

Who sings for The Healers? Is it the John-boy himself?

  • I wish I had some more time to check out this new system. At least I can say thanks for making me laugh though, at your entries, all the dangers of drinking tea and writing.

Happy in this final acceptance of his own absurdity...Albert Camus
  • Hahahaha,
reminds me of the time I took my friends kids to the park and I squeezed into the kiddie swing (it's kind of like a high chair) to try and make them laugh. I get wedged and had to turn myself upside down and drag my fat aged carcass out by clawing at the grass.
I had bruised thighs for a fortnight.

THere's none so sad as the tears of a clown...
