Siouxsie on Morrissey

Morrissey and Siouxsie did a duet back in 1994, a cover of the Timi Yuro song "Interlude". From Terrance:

Yesterday [Apr. 27] on Atlanta radio station 99X (the one famous for mandatory Morrissey Monday's) the show had Siouxsie as a guest. One of the callers got through to ask her a question about Morrissey (it was the infamous Travis Gravell who does the "Wilde about Morrissey" fanzine). He asked how the pair came about and what did she think of the time she spent with him.

She said that she was in France at the time he contacted her. She did the Reading festival and they planned it so she would be finished with her other commitments. She then went on to say the meeting was not very interesting. She said, "he was a complete asshole". She went on a tirade about how he hides behind other people to do his dirty work. She said "I hate fucking people like that". Siouxsie just kept saying how she didn't like him because he used people to do the talking for him. She also said Morrissey wanted to use nationalistic imagery in the video and she refused. "Do something else," Siouxsie told him. He never responded to her complaint.

The station got a couple of fines for all the curse words used during that segment.

Howard Stern - "Who's Morrissey?"

The mention during the original radio show was brought up a while ago I believe but here are details from the tv show, from Amanda:

...as seen on last night's <<April 27-2:30 am>>HOWARD STERN (?) tv show:

The show was revolving around whether or not Howard's associate producer K.C. was gay. He was totally denying that he was gay, to which Robin Quivers asks, "Are you asexual?"

And K.C. asks,"You mean like Morrissey?"

After this comment, both Robin and Howard respond, "Who's Morrissey?"

Shortly after, Howard makes K.C. take a polygraph asking him stupid questions like, "Have you ever gotten aroused while in the shower with other males?" "Have you ever had sexual dreams involving other males?"

That's all.
