I'm not the man you think I am...I am a poor freezingly cold soul...I have just discovered that prudence never pays. Now, we must wait for the right time

We gotta fight some more...

12:09 PM

So then, where to begin? The start seems like as good a place as any...

I was going to go to King Tuts, famous launchpad for such bands as Oasis and possibly Radiohead, to see a band called Pretty Girls Make Graves. Naturally, I thought it was a Smiths cover band, but alas it is not...Therefore I'm not going, although the thought was nice anyway.

The SJ saga continues...However, we feel a bit better. I called her when I got home on Wednesday after work, only for her not to be in. She then called me later on that night, and we suggested going to the cinema on Monday. Tonight, I gave her a call and we arranged what's going on. So I'll meet her in town at 7pm. Fantastic.

And, finally, things are looking up at work. After a totally miserable Friday (couldn't get motivated for anything), today was so much better. 15 minutes prior to my shift, sitting in the staff canteen, my boss asks me for a word. He's moving me from Childrenswear to...Media!!! Fantastic! Only for a couple of weeks mind...But the move may become permanent come September. Watch this space...

So, I'm finally working with televisions, mobile phones, and MUSIC! I'm considering bringing in some Smiths to the workplace, will sure brighten up the day, don't you think? In Childrenswear, we are deprived of such luxuries. Media show off their musical systems to the fore, doing so by blaring out several random artists (Elvis and the Eagles seem to be popular).

I think I'll end this now. Not going out tonight, just another lonely Saturday night in with mother. But things shall change soon. Take care, loyal reader.
