At mojo4music.com David Gray has been asked to submit the albums that he likes most. When reviewing the Waterboys This Is The Sea, he says that 'They played for about two-and-a-half hours, then started doing covers and jamming. I'd never seen that before. I saw The Smiths and it was great, but there was no passion about them.' The cheek of it.

hey dave, some people have the integrity, sincerity and, yes, passion to sing songs in their own native accent instead of pretending to be from somewhere 5000 miles away. perhaps you should try it one day?

But, then again, he did mention Morrissey in a slightly negative way, so maybe I'll throw out those CDs and decide not to go to his show. And tell me one thing about David Gray that is "country."
