Feel free to let the band members know about the tour...
Charlie writes: I just received an e-mail from Boz, and he said that he had not heard of the shows in Oct. and that my e-mail was the first he had heard of them.

Morrissey's Atlanta, GA show still on according to 99x
half-a-person writes: According to 99x, the Morrissey show in Atlanta on Oct. 29 (at the Tabernacle) is still on even though Ticketmaster has removed it from its calendar.

Athens, GA - 400 Watt?
An anonymous person writes: I talked to the booking agent for the 40 Watt in Athens yesterday. She said they have Morrissey confirmed, I couldn't get a date, but the 30th does seem logical. Tickets for this show will most likely be sold locally only, as is usually the policy.

Sweden date?
Per writes: Micke at Arenan in Stockholm confirms that Morrissey has been booked for a gig at Arenan, the same venue he played at in Sweden last fall.

  • If the rumor is true, and only locals can buy tickets to the Athens show, I'll need someone to get tickets for me. Let me know if you live in the Athens area, and wouldn't mind picking up a few extra tickets (I'll send the $$ in advance.)

  • I just want to dispel the rumor before it starts... Morrissey WILL NOT be performing in my living room as reported in a dream I had three nights ago... But about these Atlanta dates... These shows appear to be the kind that Morrissey cancels... Please keep this in mind... (Anyway, does anyone here have an insight as to the "meaning" of dreams? In the dream I had, Morrissey was singing the theme to the Love Boat to a nude Margaret Thatcher whose breasts were covered by American cheese singles...)

  • Hmmm... maybe Boz doesn't know anything about the upcoming shows because he isn't schedule to play those dates, and neither are Gary, Alain, not Spike. Maybe they're going to be Smiths reunions? Wouldn't that be nice.

  • The last time I spoke to Boz, he said he hasn't seen or spoken with Morrissey in a while. He might have been left out of the loop since he's been doing a semi- mini-tour with the Polecats recently. But now that he's aware that shows have been scheduled/are being scheduled, hopefully he'll get in touch with the man himself and verify/dispel any of the rumors/info.

  • Just bought my Clearwater tickets. Box office advised all the pit tickets are gone (which were in 'rows' A-C). I was able to get row D, which is the 1st row of seats...I'll find some way to get to the pit!

    Moz fan in AZ.
