Just saw the film Volver by Pedro Almodóvar. It is wonderful!

Spanish director, Almodóvar, loves women and it shows. Virtually every film of his is female-centered--including Volver. He is a master at showing women's strengths and vulnerabilities. Although many of his films portray imperfect women in varying states of crisis, we never feel frustrated by their actions and choices but rather come to love them--flaws and all.
