The more you have, the more you fear to lose.

Poor bobmozza. I just read a post of his on the new forum. Apparently someone told his employer to read his journal. This in turn, led to bobmozza being fired. I don't know all the details. I don't know if it amounts to a wrongful termination issue or not. What I do know is that there are snitches amongst us. That's right--social gatekeepers, monitors, policy pushers, moral managers--those do-gooders who have made it their life's mission to tell the rest of us how to live, act, think, and feel.

Trolls fall into this category. They like to shame us, stigmatize us, threaten to expose us to our coworkers, employers, neighbors, the IRS, child protective services...

And if you dare fear a loss of a job, promotion, social status, reputation, custody of your children--well, ya better just behave. Or else these gits will expose you! Yes they will reveal all your flaws, faults, fetishes, and all the other creepy things you are and do.

Big Brother is alive and well. He is sitting right next to you. If you want to be authentic--tell it like it is, ya better be willing to pay the price.

Or, if you take the Buddhist approach--having no attachments, no fear of loss, no desire--well then you have nothing to lose at all. It's up to you. You can live in fear and play it safe. Or you can do what you want and be free.
