Last Friday I turned another year older. But this year was different. Because, for the first time in years, I actually celebrated my birthday. I was married on this day to a wonderful man who I love very much. I had a beautiful wedding/birthday cake. I had lobster for dinner. I spent that night in a lovely hotel and had a glorious time in our private hot tub. I got a fantastic iPod from Alan. I have wanted one for a long time. Thanks again sweetie. But, best of all, was that the people that I love were there with me -- sharing a meal, my birthday, my love for Alan, and my hopes and dreams for our future. I truly realize how fortunate I am. I have a wonderful family and feel very loved.
