Where has the summer gone? I can't believe that it is the middle of August already. My son is coming home Sunday instead of the following Wednesday. I miss him. I suppose I am ready to get back into the school year routine. This always means that I will have homework as well. This usually includes several hours of intense project developing and constructing. That is always fun 'cause they assign this stuff at the end of the year. This gives us a great chance to rack up points, as he always gets A's on them. Hehe.

Our cat has been sleeping in his room the last two days. I think she really misses him. They spoke on the phone today. He can't wait to see her as well.

Last Day's Menu:

Breakfast: nothing
Lunch: ice-cold diet Sprite
Midday snack: two grape popsicles.
Dinner at 9:00 p.m.: Swiss cheese fondue with sourdough bread cubes, steamed mussels in garlic wine butter, two Maine lobster tails with drawn butter, N.Y. strip steak, extra rare, with sauteed portobello mushrooms in garlic butter, fresh-baked crusty French bread, followed by a cup of hot chocolate and four large Reese's peanut butter cups.

Dead at Midnight!
