Last week, last meal04:06 PM
Where has the summer gone? I can't believe that it is the middle of August already. My son is coming home Sunday instead of the following Wednesday. I miss him. I suppose I am ready to get back into the school year routine. This always means that I will have homework as well. This usually includes several hours of intense project developing and constructing. That is always fun 'cause they assign this stuff at the end of the year. This gives us a great chance to rack up points, as he always gets A's on them. Hehe. Our cat has been sleeping in his room the last two days. I think she really misses him. They spoke on the phone today. He can't wait to see her as well. I found an interesting link at Boing Boing today. Here is one artist's contribution to Project :: Museum Of Capital Punishment Last Meals. There is also a website that lists the last meals of Texas Death Row inmates and inmates from elsewhere Dead Man Eating. Hmmm? What would my last day meals consist of? Last Day's Menu: Breakfast: nothing Dead at Midnight! What would your last day's menu be?

The Last Supper (Score:1)
On the upside, that's really nice that D. gets to come home early! He'll prolly' enjoy a little wind-down time before school starts.

Not that I could contemplate eating but... (Score:1)
Pane Tradizionale with Pesto
Chicken Breast Skewers with a Lime, Yoghurt, Mustard and Dill Sauce on a bed of Jasmine Rice
1/2 Bottle of chilled Peppertree Chardonnay
Slice of Caramel Mud Cake with Macadamia Nut Icecream and a Skim Milk Latte with 2 sugars

Last Meal? (Score:1)
I'd plump for one of the following..
Around 50 Hard boiled eggs (a'la Paul Newman in Cool Hand Luke)... then hopefully they would struggle to get the Electic Chair belt around my bulging belly.
Or
A Giant Vindaloo Curry.
(O.K. so I may be dead, but the mess that I leave on the Chair post-frying will sure piss the Cleaners off...)
Or
Poached Eggs on Wholemeal Toast
Homemade Chicken and Leek Pie with New Potatoes
A Tub of Top Quality Chocolate Ice-Cream...
Washed down with 50 Paracetamol crushed into a bottle of Southern Comfort.
Aaah.. almost worth dying for.
