I sense change all around me

06:30 PM

It is kind of eerie. I sense a strange silence and stillness all around me. Everyone seems to be in a deep reflective mode. I think this must be contagious, because I find myself thinking about things that I have neglected to deal with in the past. I feel like the time is right to start making some changes in my life. I have been in a comfort zone for quite a while.

Here is my favorite poem about change. It is written by American poet Robert Frost.

Nothing Gold can Stay

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
