I've been listening to The Smiths since I was very young. My uncle was a really big fan. We'd drive around at night when I couldn't sleep and listen to Louder Than Bombs. All of his songs seem to have meaning behind them, and they really do mean a lot to me. My uncle passed away in June of 2010 and some of my best memories are of us driving around at night just talking and listening to The Smiths. Besides memories that go along with a lot of these songs, the lyrics always get me.. 'Asleep' came on earlier and I couldn't stop crying. My uncle was my best friend in the entire world, I miss him so much.. I'd just want to thank Steven Morrissey for his beautiful songs and amazing lyrics :(
