I'm not the man you think I am...I am a poor freezingly cold soul...I have just discovered that prudence never pays. Now, we must wait for the right time

Yes, I've made up your mind

04:41 PM

I think I'll decide to write off the ideas of the previous entry and put it down to experience. It was a wicked idea to try and pair anyone up in the first place. We're all doomed to despair.

I think I'll do an "a bullied child" and post my answers to Higgy's "poll" questions on my journal. It should take up some of my day anyway, and may provide you with some invaluable insight to my mindset. Then again, you may have clicked "Back" on your browser by this point anyway, so it really doesn't change your life in any discernable way.

What makes you happy?
Well, that's a bit of a difficult one. Define "happy". I honestly couldn't tell you. "Happy" could be a simple conversation with Biffo/BWTT on Yahoo, or a good day at work, getting on with my workmates. It could also be going out with some friends, or simply listening to some great music. Maybe it's completing a difficult university problem successfully, or taking some girl out on a date (that's one of the rarer, yet more enjoyable and pleasant, "happy" moments). So, to summarise, "happy" could be any of the above. And possibly more.

Are you satisfied with your life?
Yes and no...I mean, I've done pretty well for myself up until now. I've achieved pretty well at school, I'm at university, I have good lungs, good heart, my mind is fit and my feet can walk. Likewise, I have a loving mother and grandmother as well. However, it's difficult to say at such a young age whether I'm "satisfied" with my life or not. I'd like to achieve a whole lot before I'm old. I'd like to graduate with a good degree, and work internationally, having a good life. Also, I'd like to have a girlfriend, but if I let that rule my life (which I have been guilty of before, which I'm sure you can testify to), then I'm never going to get anywhere fast.

What is one thing you'd like to change about yourself?
Um...My attractiveness towards females. That's quite a difficult thing to change (no, I'm not saying I'm drop-dead gorgeous, silly). "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", or whatever. So I can't really MAKE a girl like me. But if I could change anything, I'd make myself a whole lot more appealing to those of the fairer sex.

What is the one thing you like about yourself?
I don't like the wording of this question. The fact that "the one thing" has been quoted makes me think that a few people have a bit of insecurity about themselves (sorry Higgy, trying to explain it in the way I mean...). Higgy probably meant "the main thing" when thinking up of this question. Well, the MAIN thing I like about myself is the discipline I believe I have applied to myself. I'm one of these people who's NEVER late. I work hard to try and plan things in time. This might be a bad thing - some people may see this as a "control freak" type thing. But I'm proud to say I mentally prepare myself for making things on time. I hate lateness.

And that's pretty much it! Sorry if I've bored you to tears, and thank you and congratulations if you manages to get this far, I do appreciate it. I do enjoy these interview-type questions if I have some time on my hands, and as you can see, I seem to have WAY too much of it at the moment...
