I'm not the man you think I am...I am a poor freezingly cold soul...I have just discovered that prudence never pays. Now, we must wait for the right time

I am the last of the famous...

12:40 PM

What an eventful past few days! Amazing!

Sunday was my first day as a Media employee. I was totally lost by all the technological items surrounding me, but the day was generally ok. Not brilliant, but ok.

Monday was a different kettle of fish. Not working, I sat in my t-shirt and boxer shorts until 4pm. Then, I finally got washed, changed, and went into town to meet SJ for our first actual date. We went to the cinema to see Scooby Doo, and the date was ok. Not bad.

Tuesday, I was working 10am-4pm, and my good friend who works in Media (who I used to think was a total arsehole) informed me all about widescreen TVs, and the benefits of them. Most informative, and he really helped me a lot. I feel a bit more confident now. After work, I met up with two girls from holiday, and went and got a pizza with them. They're nice, I have to say. I met them myself as my friends deserted me, which is happening all too often these days. But the dinner was nice.

One of the girls I went to Pizza Hut with (incidentally, I got an individual margherita with chargrilled chicken, then an Alabama Soft Chocolate Cake, washed down with Diet Pepsi) I speak to quite often on MSN. And she's really good to me. Tries to make me a lot more positive about myself. Lovely girl. I actually prefer her to SJ, but shhh...

Quite amazing, eh? Three girls in two days! Fantastic! I mean, sure, only one of them was an actual date, but still...Oh, and exciting news! On Tuesday, after work and before I met up with my two girls for Pizza Hut, I wandered into HMV. Taking my usual trip up to the Morrissey section, and what do I see? Another man, other than myself, looking at Morrissey CDs!!! Honestly! I was going to spark up a conversation with him, introducing myself as the world famous Jacques, but I suppose he would look at me with a certain amount of disgust. So I opted not to, but if you were that man, t'was me...

Today, I've done nothing. Played some GTA3 on PS2 (which I found on Monday), and typed this, and played some Minesweeper, while listening to "The Smiths" (current track is "What Difference Does It Make?"). It's one of those days like Monday, without the date at the end of it. I have an engagement party on Friday, without a date...What to do?

Do you actually realise that it's been about 10 months since I started this life's discovery? And yet, I bet nobody even reads it. I mean sure, I know people probably click on my journal, then glance over it ever so slightly to see if there's anything remotely interesting in it, and when they see there's not, they swiftly click back. Don't worry, I'm guilty of it myself. Just a bit of a shame, that's all.

I was going to write something relevant to your average reader, but I'll leave that for entry 199. Take care, if you got this far.
