Well, I got to see American Pie 2 today. Some soundtrack - one of the first soundtracks I know that comprises no music. I find that quite incredible. But anyway, enough said.

DWGT - Thanks for your words of advice. I hate it when things like what happened to you happen to)me - when she is around me, and she talks about herself and all the things she likes doing. I just want to be a part of that - I want her to want me. Just now, I'm realising that no matter what I do, nothing will persuade her otherwise. What makes it so hard is the strength of the affection I have for her.

I hope you get over this K fellow. And best of luck with the non-smoking stand you're making too! I hope you quit for good. As for the girl, well...I don't know whether to ask her out or not. She's having a party in a couple of weeks, so I'll see whatever happens there. It's almost as if, by going out with her, I'm trying to show this girl what she's missing. Strange.

I'll see how it goes. I really do like the girl, but it's a question of whether or not she likes me...I'm considering just going for it anyway. Worst that can happen is yet another rejection, in a lifetime that appears to be full of them...
