I'm not the man you think I am...I am a poor freezingly cold soul...I have just discovered that prudence never pays. Now, we must wait for the right time

Down down, you bring me down

02:46 PM

An eventful week of marks, marks and marks, all of which were reasonably successful. It's been a rather trying week, one which tests loyalties and tries mental strength. I guess I need to get a bit stronger yet, though.

So, it's the Complete Stone Roses again tomorrow, the second gig of theirs in the past four months, and my first concert of 2004. I'm sure it shall be a most enjoyable evening, and I look forward to it immensely. I'm currently listening to "The Very Best Of" to prepare for it. Unfortunately, I'm none too familiar with the "Second Coming" (the album I refer to, of course), and so at least part of the concert is lost on me. But the good parts far outweigh the bad...

The Formula One season kicks off this weekend, and sadly there's no Jacques this season. It's a bit of a strange experience, when you've been following a sport for many years supporting someone, and then they disappear. Who do I support? I'm lost, without a terribly active interest.

Raging Homosapien's latest offering is rather good, I think. Bloody good. Very Joy Division-esque, and it definitely has a feel of "She's Lost Control" in the drums and bass. Mr_Biffo's pulled it out the bag, as ever.

Fortunately, I have nothing more to say.

  • I can't help thinking that this is going to be the shittest season ever. Schumacher will win by a record margin, with Barrichello in second. As usual, Alonso, Montoya and Raikkonen will show glimpses of top form but it won't be anything near good enough. Let's just hope that the twat Jenson Button doesn't win any races.
