Hi there, long time site user here. I've posted on the message boards under a different name for years. Decided to resurrect this very old "main pages ID" for the purposes of tinkering around with a journal. I'm not sure what it is I'll be writing about, or if I'll really do much writing at all. It seems like something I could possibly get into, but one never knows.

I've got so much on my mind these days, much of which is the usual mundane things one (over)thinks about like careers, friends, a romantic interest, and the general routines of life. All those things (and more) are bouncing around in my head. Also present, however, are thoughts about my overall place in this world. What is it that I feel most passionately about? What am I searching for? What is the purpose of my existence? How should I be spending my time and efforts most productively in order to make some sort of a statement.

Pretty vague, huh?

I know. I'm just beginning to explore these questions. The spark for these thoughts and questions may also prove to be a large part of the answer. Or perhaps not. I hope so though. Only time will tell.
