Filmmaker Natalie Johns was born in Zimbabwe, grew up in South Africa and established her career in the London where she specialized in music television with Channel 4, MTV and production company Done and Dusted.

Johns has spearheaded many music for film projects around the world and worked with a diverse range of artists including Jay-Z, Spiritualized, the Rolling Stones, Gorillaz, John Legend & The Roots, Lenny Kravitz, REM, and Gil Scott Heron. Recently she worked alongside Amnesty International directing the Electric Burma concert for Aung San Suu Kyi in Dublin with Bono, Damian Rice and also directed the Bring Human Rights Home concert in New York for Pussy Riot featuring Imagine Dragons, Lauren Hill, Flaming Lips, Madonna and many more.[1]

Relevance

Natalie Johns is credited as director of the spoken-word videos promoting World Peace Is None Of Your Business (World Peace Is None Of Your Business, Istanbul, The Bullfighter Dies, Earth Is The Loneliest Planet). She is also credited as a producer for the unreleased Live At The Hollywood Bowl.[2]

On Pamela Anderson's appearance in "Earth Is The Loneliest Planet," Natalie tweeted "Morrissey - new spoken word video - feat Pamela Anderson * But I can confirm that they had never met before we shot!". She further commented "...both knew and respected one another's work with PETA immensely but had not found themselves in the same room before."[3]
