It's almost been seven weeks.
You were an exceptional cat. Everybody who got to know you, said so.
Many things you have left behind, they are only slowly unfolding. Sometimes it feels as if you are still here.
I just had to look inside. It took me a few weeks to notice.
There was a spark of consciousness inside you that went beyond "cat", and way beyond "human".
You could heal with your paws, and also scratch. But that's okay.
When you fell for the first time, you didn't want to let me know.
You were observant without being judgemental, till the end.
I hope the life you were given is pain-free now, that you can hear again and immerse yourself in the world around you, that you found tolerable company, some little kittens to take care of, a water fountain to look at.
You are dearly missed every day.
I hope you can forgive me.
