In Response To: Morrissey=good (the Dude)

I disagree with you wholeheartedly. There would be no disaster if Moz split with Alain. The partnership is very stale, which is obvious by how terrible the last two albums have been. Southpaw was the same song rehashed over and over 8 times. It's not a matter being "stylish" to like the old stuff better- the new stuff just simply sucks. I think a new writing partner is just what Moz needs to kick start his career. It's obvious something is wrong- be it writer's block or Alain and Boz writing @#!!!e. I don't think Moz would have a problem finding a record label, if he had something to record. I think he's embarassed to sign to a new label and release 12 songs of rubbish- which I can respect. We didn't hear any new songs on the tour, apart from a Bowie cover. If all was well in Moz land I'm sure he would have played at least a few new songs, but he did not.
Onto your other comment, "The Big Lebowski" is my all time fav movie- I think it blows away "Fargo." I think "Raising Arizona" was a better Coen Brothers movie than "Fargo" as well, though 99% of people will disagree with that.
