Well I just saw my first Morrissey concert. The venue was real intimate like, a nice old-style theatre. I can't say much about the crowd overall, because I was in the balcony. But it seemed to me that most people seemed bored. I don't know, I know I couldn't sit down, but plenty of people never even stood once. The sound wasn't too pretty, i could barely make out what he was saying when he talked between songs.

But, he didn't talk so much... seemed kinda tired. He made a few cracks about him being fat... then said "there's just more of me to cuddle".. then he said that sounds like something you'd hear on Rickie Lake.

encore: Shoplifters

A few people stormed the stage in the middle of shoplifters, security tried to take them away but they were all over morrissey. He left the stage and the band just stopped playing. The lights came up and the crowd was booing. It was not a great ending :( I left feeling somewhat dissapointed that I didnt get to cheer him off.
