(outro tape: my way, frank sinatra)

no suprises, but a solid, mature performance. high points included great singalongs to is it really so strange, now my heart is full and a powerful rendition of meat is murder - a song that even to this vegetarian of twelve years can sometimes sound embarrasingly preachy - was performed with such vigor and sincerity as to make me question even my closest carnivor friends. other incidents include moz grabbing flowers from a fan and throwing them into the audience, peeling off his west ham t-shirt and doing the same, changing the words of hairdresser to "so much for london" and asking, just before lost, "are there any rough boys and rough girls from manchester here?"
before asserting, "the world NEEDS you", any dissenters can find me in The Robin Hood Public House, Stretford, me - skinhead with handsome boyfriend. the royal court theatre is a @#!!!hole, with paint peeling off the ceiling and rising damp. the staff are miserable jobsworths who marred my evening by continuously asking me to return to my seat. there is a place in hell. overall though, worth the trek to liverpool, as the great man no longer graces us with his presence, the local boys were very friendly. it's 1:36am
goodnight and thank you
