I saw sold out.

In Response To: Set List (Shawn)

I glimpsed a schedule of events sitting on the podium at the House of Blues, and contrary to the first post, it indicated that the Sunday Moz show had sold out. Sure, the balcony seats weren't filled up, but I bet many of them left the boring balcony to get into the action.

Another interesting thing I noticed was that on this schedule of events, they had the names of at least a dozen acts who had appeared or who were appearing during December and January. Next to each of the bands names and dates appearing was a word describing what kind of music was being performed. Next to Big Bad Voodoo Daddy for example, it said "Swing." Next to KC and the Sunshine Band (who appeared Saturday) it said, "Pop". And Al Green had "soul" as his descriptor. Morrissey, however, next to both his dates had no descriptive word. I thought this was rather appropriate. There isn't any way to capture in one word what Morrissey does. And from the looks of the LV Review Journal, there's even ways to bungle badly the capturing of what Morrissey does in 500 words. bleh to them.
