Now My Life is Full

A brilliant night. The sound was PERFECT from where I was standing (at the very front in the midst of two thousand fans going crazy behind me) and the man was on fine form, very funny. He said: 'I'm a lot fatter in real life you know', 'You're going to have a really miserable time', 'I know what you're thinking: I'm not very funny', 'I would have all of you if I could... actually I WOULD have all of you' and, my own fave, a crowd surfer seemed a bit upset he couldn't get on stage. Mozza shook his hand (he did this with nearly all the surfers) and said: 'Oh, he'll be OK... I love you' and then addressed the crowd with: 'He's my son, he's adopted'.
During November Spawned a Monster he was shaking hands with the audience and sang 'Stretch, stretch, stretch' to the music.
Best tunes were 'Is it Really so Strange?', 'Trouble Loves Me' and 'Now My Heart is Full'. I threw a painting of him on stage that I had asked a really talented friend of mine to do. Mozza grabbed it and put it next to the drums... I'm wondering if he'll ever see it (it was sealed), the roadies took it away with his towels. The man is amazing and as good as ever, but some fans left a lot to be desired. These two @#!!!heads behind me kept hassling a girl in front of them to give them her space (the security eventually threatened them with physical violence), called me a 'poof' for throwing the painting on stage and heckled for 'National Front Disco' during the encore. Hmmmm... seems you've made at least one silly career choice Moz!
